Thomas McKown Photo - About the Photographer

With a little less than 5 years of experience, Thomas has photographed a wide variety of
subjects and loves the diversity and freedom of shooting anything he sees as he sees it.
While landscapes were his first passion, he also enjoys and offers many other types of
photography services.

Coming from the mindset of a landscape photographer,
color, composition, and interesting subject matter are always key factors in his work.
For Thomas, photography isn't about simply documenting events, its about producing
an image that has a surreal, stunning feel that brings back memories of the time the
picture was taken.

Using special post production techniques combined with his technical skill and his
ability to capture the moment, he has developed an impressive portfolio consisting of a
variety of subject matter which displays many aspects of his own unique taste and style.
He considers his work a passion and an expression of himself. Thomas is willing to use
whatever means necessary to achieve his goal. He is not loyal to any particular method,
but is only after the end result. It is this open-minded and creative mindset that has
taken him where he is today and it is what sets him apart from many other
photographers.
